The Dark Side Of Gladiatus

I have been playing the browser game otherwise known as "Gladiatus" for close to six months now and have found it to be quite entertaining and challenging.

The dynamic gameplay is ADDICTING and as anything ADDICTING some folks who play this game usualy exhibit some unusual side effects.

The fact that you can send messages to friend and foe is great but it can be quite annoying as well. The game lacks a way for you to ignore abusers unless you get those rubies, but even then altho you can ignore the messages you can't ignore the constant BASHING of an individual who is usualy at a higher level than you, sometimes as high as 7 to 10 levels above you and their sole purpose in life is to make your game experience very unpleasant.

What are some things that you can do to avoid the 'PSYCOS' in the game gladiatus?

1. Do not respond to any of their attacks or messages to you. This is what these Psycos seek: ATTENTION.
2. Keep track of how many times they attack you keeping a record of their attacks and altho they can BASH you 5 times in 24 hours they can be banned for doing so every day in the course of a week.
3. Do not message them. Don't have any conversations with these people. If you lose your temper and write something nasty to them they will report you. Remember their whole purpose is to somehow affect you personaly.
4. Visit the forums and become familiar with the game rules and regs. Talk with the game operator in your server if you are being bashed more than 5 times in a 24 hour period or being attacked continualy by the same person for a period of 5 days or more.
5. Remember, this is just a game. It is entertainment so dont take nothing personal. Exploit the fact that they take all your life hit/points by doing your equipment upgrades and stat upgrades at those times when you have no more life points.

If the Psyco is starting to get to you, simply put away all your left over gold into your guild and head for the stables and take a brake from the game.

And finaly, if you can find someone who is able to beat down that Psyco do it. Hire him if you have to its worth it. HIRE A MERC.
