What is up with those groovie rubies?

Allot of us have climbed the proverbial Gladiatus ladder the hard way: "BY THE SWEAT OF OUR BROW" and somehow this devilish little free game we all come to know as Gladiatus has tought us to be patient. Those 15 minute cooldowns gave us a chance to grab a beer or chat on the phone while the clock ticked on.

All that changed the day we gave in to that ultimate desire: "To break out the credit card and buy those RUBIES" $79 bucks will get you 1000 of those little red devils and all of a sudden your whole gaming experience has gone to the next level.

No more waiting for the auction clock, hell just buy that Sword of Brutality with 60 damage points out with just 50 rubies and a couple thousand gold rocks. No more waiting on the market and with a wait of just 5 minutes for arena bouts if you are a CENTURION its just HOG HEAVEN.

Somehow those rubies make you forget all the time you spent waiting and learning to be patient in an instant faster than the bat of an eye as you gain experience points faster than you can say Gladiatus.

All that is well and good but what happened to those beautiful qualities you attained while playing this devilishly evil game before you became a SULTAN?

Here are just a few pointers for those of you who are brave and bold enough to buy those rubies:

• The best time to buy rubies is when you are at least a level 20 in the game.
• Use those Rubies to make you RICH RICH RICH... Weapons with high damage points and huge bonuses like +5 STRENTH and +5 Skill are very popular.
• My personal favorite blessings include: BLESSING OF APOLLO To crank up your max expedition points. SEAL OF THE PATRICIAN is great for getting new goods from the store every half hour instead of the 60 minute wait period. Honors of the BEZERKER gives you Higher damage points than most folks in your level. And the Secret knowledge of the Ancients to speed up your experience points as well as being able to see higher level weapons than normal (Two levels above the normal level).
• Spending the 14 rubies for 15 days to become a Temporary CENTURION is a good idea as well.

If I had to do it all over again I would have waited till I was level 20. That is when you get thos nice blessings that I like. Especialy the one for finding artifacts. Are they worth it? I would say a big YES. Will they change the way you play? YES. And you will feel the pang of not having those rubies most harshly after they run out and you have no more patience to wait for the store to change its goods or at the arena.

Once you become a SULTAN there is no going back to the waiting game.
